The perfect curl.

He is finally starting to get some proper baby locks. I think he inherited my crazy hair gene. I know I will miss these little whisps as he gets older.

Playing a bit of catch up this week but here are the portraits from the last couple of weeks.

Week 11:  He is currently obsessed with bubbles in any form.

Week 12:  We had to take the coach to Bristol last week. He was so good despite the heat and the distance.

Morning light.

Forrest Jura. Aged 1 year and a couple of weeks. Always ready to go. Always on the move. Always full of the energy in the morning that I have to muster for myself.

First birthday.

I have to credit this wonderful photo to my lovely and talented friend Blair. I was glad to just be able to sit back and enjoy Forrest’s birthday party and let other people handle the photography for once. I truly love this photo though. He was completely beautifully hyper after eating his birthday cake. Its been a wonderful blurry week of celebrations and I look forward to reflecting on it more over the coming days.

After breakfast.

Sometime the only way to clean this baby is to put him under the shower. Born in water and will always be a water baby. This is his last weekly picture before he turns one!
